Happy Cheeze

English version below

Was gab's denn so?

Fazit: OMG! DER HAPPY WHITE!!! ... Die anderen Sachen waren auch gut aber. DER HAPPY WHITE! <3 <3 <3

English translation

I am not really used to having people send me things just so I can eat them. But believe me, anyone who sends me food collects lots and lots of karma points! :D Especially when we're talking about really good vegan cheese. Well, that's how you win my heart.

So I did a little summary of what I think about the "cheese" of Happy Cheeze. By the way, it's organic and handmade in Germany. With the whole cheese maturation process and everything <3

So what did I have? Cream cheese, plain and with wild garlic, cashew parmesan, büddamülch ("büttermülk") plain and strawberry, 2 raw vegan cakes, and a matured chorizo "cheese".

First conclusion: OMG! CHEESE! <3

Seriously. The Happy White. The new love of my culinary life. You can tell from the picture, it looks like camembert. Especially the mouthfeel of the white outer layer is brillant. There are some slight differences from my memories of dairy camemberts, but those are neglectable considering the overall impression. Wonderful product!
On the right side is the matured chorizo cheese. Pretty tasty, spicy, but it didn't quite stand up to my enthusiasm for the Happy White ;)

I tried the cream cheese on sandwiches, and also on my herb-filled pita bread. Really good!

Then there were the two raw vegan cakes in glasses. Chocoalte, and blueberry cheesecake. I'll have to say that I wasn't as excited about these as I was about the other products. I don't eat a whole lot of raw food and am probably used to different taste patterns. The cake itself wasn't bad, the upper part of the blueberry cheesecake, for example, was all nice and creamy. It's just that the whole thing isn't quite down my alley.

Ah, a classic. Cashew Parmesan. It's good. :) There really isn't a whole lot to say. I usually make this myself [recipe here], but the one from Happy Cheeze is good, too.

I couldn't try the Büttermülk myself, because Mr. Squirrel enthusiastically drank both bottles before I could wrestle them from his hands. I think this should suffice as a commentary on his judgement ;)

Overall conclusion: OMG! The HAPPY WHITE! The other stuff is good, too, but ... THE HAPPY WHITE! <3 <3 <3
